Description
A self-aligning carrying idler is a device in a belt conveyor system designed to automatically correct conveyor belt misalignment by pivoting the idler assembly to keep the belt centered on the conveyor. When the belt drifts to one side, the idler assembly, which typically includes a pivot or cradle and guide rollers, responds to the force and steers the belt back to the center. This action prevents belt mistracking, reduces wear and tear on the belt and idlers, and ensures smoother conveyor operation
